Lesson Concentration:
Sometimes leaders make plans that will take those they serve in a harmful direction. What can stop this from happening? In Genesis 11 , the participants learn that God is aware of misguided plans and will intervene for the greater good of creation.

Objectives:

By the end of the class session, the students should be able to do one or more of the following:

  1. Understand why god caused the tower of Babel project to fail
  2. Relate God’s command to Noah and his sons
  3. Describe how Noah’s descendants disobeyed God
  4. Characterize Nimrod
  5. Describe the people’s massive building project and what it represented
  6. Tell the people’s attitude about themselves
  7. Describe God’s plan for making project fail
  8. Tell the advantages of a common language
  9. Account for the city being names Babel
  10. Recite the Key Verse
